Football Baron — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between users ("User") who download, install, or use the "Football Baron" mobile application ("App") and the developer.

1. Parties

Developer: Anelka Games

By downloading the App, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms. If you do not accept, do not use the App and remove it from your device.

2. License

Football Baron grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App. This license:

Grants you the right to use the App on your personal devices
Does not grant rights to modify, reverse engineer, or copy the source code
Does not grant rights to sell, rent, sublicense, or integrate the App into another product

3. Age Limit

The App is for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 13, do not use without parental consent. See the Privacy Policy for parental responsibilities.

4. Account and Cloud Backup

An anonymous account is created automatically (Firebase Authentication)
Cloud backup is optional; only you can access your data
Right to delete your account is reserved: write to support@footballbaron.com → deleted within 30 days
The developer reserves the right to delete/freeze accounts in case of abuse (cheating, exploits, ToS violations)

5. In-App Purchases (IAP)

a) Virtual currency: Gold (🪙)

Gold is not real currency and is non-refundable
Gold can only be used within Football Baron
The developer may change Gold prices and functions for balancing purposes

b) Ad-free version

"Ad-free" purchase is one-time and tied to your account
Can be restored on a new device (same Google account)

c) Right of Withdrawal

For EU consumers: the right of withdrawal expires once the digital content has been consumed (EU Consumer Directive 2011/83 Article 16(m))
For other countries: local consumer law applies
If there is an unfair charge or technical error, contact support@footballbaron.com to file a claim

d) Refunds

Refund requests are made directly through Google Play. The developer does not have direct refund authority but supports Google's refund policy:

6. Advertisements

In the free version, ads are displayed via Google AdMob
Users who purchased the ad-free version are not shown ads
Rewarded ads are optional; if you do not watch, you do not receive the reward
The developer is not responsible for ad content (see Google AdMob content policies)

7. User Conduct Rules

The following are prohibited:

Manipulating the App with hacks/mods/exploits
Using automated tools (bots, macros)
Harassing other users (if multiplayer is added)
Creating fake accounts or using someone else's account
Using the App for illegal purposes

In case of violation, the account may be deleted and technical measures may be taken.

8. Intellectual Property

All copyrights, trademarks, visuals, and code of the App belong to the developer
Club names and player names are fictional or generated generically; any resemblance to real persons/organizations is coincidental
If you believe an asset infringes copyright: write to support@footballbaron.com → we will act in accordance with DMCA/copyright

9. Service Interruption

The App:

Does not guarantee 24/7 availability
Cloud services (Firebase) may go down → device-side save continues to work
The developer reserves the right to discontinue the App with notice
In case of discontinuation, a fair policy will apply for unused IAPs

10. Disclaimer of Liability

The App is provided "as is". The developer:

Does not guarantee that the App will operate without errors
Is not liable for indirect damages such as data loss, device damage, or financial loss
Within the maximum limits permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount paid for IAPs

This does not affect the user's statutory rights (GDPR, local consumer protection laws, EU Consumer Directive).

11. Third-Party Services

The App depends on the following services; their own terms apply:

Google Play Services — Google Play Terms
Google AdMob — ad display
Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) — cloud backup
Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated over time
Material changes will be announced within the app
Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new Terms
If you do not accept, you may delete the App

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the country where the developer is located
Consumer rights are protected by local legislation
For EU consumers: applications can also be made through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform → ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
